Role: Foundation Governor
Favourite film: Brigadoon. I watched it as a Child and remember being enthralled by the thought of a village appearing every 100 years

Who inspires you: J K Rowling and anyone else who works hard to achieve what they desire

Who inspires you: Albert Einstein

Role: Staff Governor
Favourite film: The Secret Garden
Favourite children's book:  Goodnight Mister Tom by Michelle Magorian. I read this book when I was in Year 6 and have loved it ever since. I also loved A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson
Favourite food: All Italian food- particular pizza and pasta!
Who inspires you: I have many people in my life that inspire me for many different reasons, at work and at home. My Grandma has inspired me greatly as I have grown up and she taught me so much about life. Anne Frank is also an inspirational figure; a young girl with so much potential and gifts to offer the world. She went through a great ordeal but always had hope and belief in the people around her – “…despite everything, I believe that people are really good”
Favourite quote: All of Mother Theresa’s quotes inspire me to become a better person and to show love to all. These are two of my favourites: “Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.” “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

Who inspires you: Marie Curie. My best friend Mandy

Who inspires you: Musically and artistically, JS Bach. More widely, anyone who stands up for the oppressed and speaks out for those who are unable to speak, without fear or constraint, for themselves

Name: Miss Hornby
Role: Headteacher
Favourite film: I have three!  It’s A Wonderful Life, The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music.
Favourite children's book: Charlotte’s Web which I read to my little sister when she was 7; following which she refused to eat meat (thought my mum would kill me!) and continues to be a vegetarian today.
Favourite food: A roast dinner with lots of roast potatoes and lashings of gravy.
Who inspires you: So many people; Mother Teresa, Pope Francis, Martin Luther King, whose actions have changed the lives of others. On a more personal level my own dad who always told me to enjoy life as it is now.  
Favourite quote: There are so many quotes which move and inspire me. Mother Teresa I think put it beautifully: ‘I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world’ and Gandhi, who challenges us to be better human beings: ‘Be the change you want to see in the world today.’

Favourite film: The Sound of Music, and still is, a family favourite. I also love Dumbo, both the new and the old version.
Favourite children's book: I loved Carrie’s War by Nina Bawden as a child. I also read and reread Anne Frank’s Diary.
Favourite food: Anything Mediterranean.
Who inspires you: Steve Biko, a peaceful man with a powerful voice.
Favourite quote: Before Jem looks at anyone else he looks at me and I’ve tried to live so that I can always look squarely back at him.Atticus Finch talking about being a good parent to his son Jem.
