Watching our choir entertain the residents at Stella Matutina this week brought a smile to my face. Their repertoire of much loved songs found the audience tapping along and enjoying every moment. This was then followed by numerous games of dominoes; such a delight watching young and old interact with such love and laughter. Thank you children for your heavenly voices and kindness.
As our play develops and takes shape, the hall continues to be filled with cries of ‘Poor Old Peter Pan’ as that Captain Hook is determined to make him walk the plank. Humming along to the well-known songs, we're having a great time! If you're intrigued, why not join us during the final week to see just what talented storytellers we have in school.
Play Tickets have been on sale for our Year 5 & 6 parents and will be on sale outside Year 6 on Monday morning before school too for all other members of the school community. Tickets are £3 each. We have 3 performances, Monday 15th July and Tuesday 16th, both evenings at 6:30pm and also at 9:30am Tuesday 17th. We always find that tickets sell very quickly and due to fire regulations we're unable to exceed sales of 120 tickets per performance so please don't miss securing your ticket for what promises to be a truly magnificent show!
As we are coming to the end of the school year, we would be very grateful if parents would settle all school accounts for dinners, trips, music lessons etc. We are ploughing through the outstanding accounts and would ask that everyone would ensure that they end the school year with no outstanding amounts owing on ParentPay.
We do thank you all for your support throughout the year - it is so very much appreciated.
Well done to Year 2 with a full house. Let’s hope that the sun is shining when you enjoy those extra playtime minutes next week.
This is such a busy time of year with so many end of term school events and holiday plans to finalise. Our school reports will be going out through all classes next week on Friday and we hope that this will be a wonderful opportunity for you to sit with your child and reflect on the year they have had. Discussing special moments with children and the learning journey they've taken with their teachers, classmates and indeed the whole school, can be a brilliant way of celebrating a year well spent and knowledge and new skills learned.
Teachers have put so much time into each individual report - every child will have left a little bit of themselves behind in the hearts of the teaching staff they have worked with this year and once again we thank you for entrusting them into our care.
This weekend, it’s St Anne’s Charity Carnival and we hope that the sun will shine and that you will all have a very pleasant and relaxing weekend.
