This week has flown past, singing has filled every corner of the school as classes practise for their parts in the Christmas celebration films. Nothing sounds as magical as children singing and singing with such joy and enthusiasm, you are all in for a treat.

With only a month until Christmas, the children are getting very excited. Activities and card making in Art and class Nativities and Christmas song practises, it really is feeling festive already!

Christmas is creeping up on us as excited children are telling me about putting up the tree and decorating their homes in preparation. We also are starting to get ready and all the children are contributing to a special display in the school entrance to celebrate this special time. I will post a photo, once all is in place.

It really is remarkable how quickly we adapt to any situation, the children have seamlessly slipped back into school life after the break and are deeply emersed in their education. They truly are a creadit to us all.

Another week done and dusted, this half term is flying past with only a week and a half to go before Autumn half term. We are diving deeper into our learning and loving school life.

The weeks are flying past, four weeks gone already! Autumn has us in full force, as the winds are howling, the rain is beating and the temperature has dropped, but we are still smiling and enjoying every minute of the school day.

There is a nip in the air as Autumn draws in, leaves are falling and days are getting shorter. In school we are still full of Summer joy, happy to learn, laugh and live our best versions of ourselves!

What a fantastic week we have had at Our Lady’s, our year six children found out their roles of responsibility and we happy for eachother and themselves, we had a small key stage assembly that was so lovely to be together again and learning is back in full force.

Our first full week back to school and it has been a cracker of a week, as everyone gets to grips with their new classes, timetables and routines. It is so fabulous to see happy, smiley faces at every turn.

Another full week, lots going on with the added bonus of hearing year six belt out their songs from practice in the hall for their end of year play, The Wizard of OZ. They sound amazing already!

Art News… Week Two

What a fantastic week we have had at Our Ladies. The weather has been amazing for our sports days, each bubble has had their own sports afternoon and on Thursday, the whole school came together for the first time since last March (socially distanced of course). It was rather emotional to see us as one again and it was brilliant. Mrs Gregan announced each bubbles house winners and then the overall winner… Plessington! what a thrill, we cheered, chapped and all joined in some dancing as we celebrated.
