Disaster stuck when Miss Lavelle forgot to put the beans outside. We arrived on Wednesday to find and enormous beanstalk had broken through the roof!

Everything was going well until Wednesday lunch time…when all our construction toys disappeared!

It has been wonderful to have a full classroom again and was an absolute joy to see how happy the children were to return on Monday morning. The children have thoroughly enjoyed seeing friends they have missed and exploring the classroom.

Another lovely week is over! One more week, let’s dig deep, with prayer, love and hope we can do this together! I cannot wait for the classroom to be full and buzzing with excitement again.

What perfect timing for the iris, we planted at the start of the year, to blossom. A lovely sign of hope, just when we need it most!

What a fantastic week we have had! We have got stuck in to the activities in our new timetable and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The week seems to have flown by so quickly. We are so proud of every single child in Reception, they are showing some amazing skills and qualities.

This week has definitely been a lot calmer here in school, hopefully at home you are getting into a routine as a family with all the things you are juggling. I think you are all doing a fantastic job, the beaming smiles on the pictures and videos you are sending me say it all!

What a topsy turvy week it has been! This week has been a rollercoaster and definitely not what we had planned. With your patience and support we have made it to Friday together!

What a week to finish a fantastic term! We couldn’t be prouder of the way the children started and settled in these unusual times. Each one of them has shown enthusiasm, kindness, friendship and progressed in so many ways!

What a jam packed week we have had in Reception!

It was great to welcome everyone back on Monday. The children came back ready and raring to grow their brains, we have been enthusiastic sponges all week!

The Reception team wanted to say a great big THANK YOU! It has been a fantastic start to the year and we hope the enthusiasm and excitement for learning continues when we return.
