It has been another lovely week in Reception, full excitement. It was wonderful to hear Nursery, Reception, Year One and Year Two singing this week’s hymn ‘Give me joy in my heart’ with such joy in assembly, it set us up for a wonderful end to the week.

What a brilliant afternoon we shared with Nursery, it was great to have so many supporters cheering the children on. The children were true athletes showing brilliant sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout.

What a week of royal celebrations it has been. We have had such fun finding out about Queen Elizabeth II and celebrating her Platinum Jubilee.

What a week of glorious weather we have had, we have been in our outdoor classroom at every possible opportunity. I have seen some lovely moments of teamwork and friendship this week, the summer term in Reception is always such a special one.

We have been back in full force this week and it has been lovely to share our final week of the Spring term together. It is incredible how time has flown this year, I can’t quite believe we have twelve weeks left in Reception.
