This week in Year 1 we have been writing so much, even the pencil sharpeners need a half-term!

We have had a very special week in Year 1 and have now released five beautiful butterflies into God’s world.

The Year 1 classroom is full of excitement and anticipation - the caterpillars are now chyrsalis’ and are awaiting their first flight in the butterfly net.

The class has been filled with 30 Bobby Bees this week; the children have amazed me with their love of learning and growing their brains.

There’s never a dull moment in Year One and this week certainly hasn’t disappointed!

We have had a wonderful week in Year one and have enjoyed lots of happy time playing on the field, in the sunshine. The children have returned from their Easter break, refreshed and full of enthusiasm for growing their brains.

We have certainly made the most of the sunshine this week!

The children have been full of smiles this week and have been so compassionate towards each other.

What a sunny week we have had in Year 1!

This past week is one, I know I will never forget. Seeing the children’s little faces light up with smiles, when they saw their friends and teachers, filled me with hope for the future.

It feels like a long time in the making but I can hardly believe this chapter has come to an end. I am beyond excited to have the children back on Monday.

Children, this week has whizzed by! You have all continued to wow me with your enthusiasm for learning and determination to grow your brains.

I can hardly believe I am writing my final blog of this half term. The past six weeks have certainly been different and have challenged us all in different ways. I could not be prouder of the children; they have all thrown themselves into their learning and so much learning has happened.

Year 1, we could not have had a better start to February! This week, you have all been such brave Tommy Turtles and have thrown yourself into every learning challenge I have set.

Doesn’t time fly when you’re busy growing your brain! This week has flown by and I can hardly believe we will be in February next week

I have been bursting with pride for the Year 1 Children this week. We have had another wonderful week of growing our brains and the quality of the work has been amazing.

From Sock Monsters to weather reports, this week has been jam packed with learning. Whether you have been learning remotely or in school, one thing is for certain, a lot of learning has been happening.

Learning apart, but together in our hearts.

To all of my wonderful Year 1 families, I just want to say thank you. I am beyond grateful for all of the extra learning you do with the children at home; I know how much the children love sharing their learning with you. They have made wonderful progress since September and every step has been magical. I could not be prouder of them!
