Key Learning and Mastery of Music:

Year 4 and Year 5 - When the children reach Year 4 they have the opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument. This teaching is delivered weekly to the whole class by a specialist music teacher for the Lancashire Music Service. From September 2022 this opportunity will be extended to two years moving into Year 5 also. Below is a link to an overview, from Lancashire, of this addition to the music curriculum.
