"You are Precious in my Eyes."

In the coming week’s Gospel, we hear that Jesus tells us just how much he loves us and how precious we are. We all know that our mission statement is, ‘You are Precious in my Eyes’ but what makes people precious? Is is their qualities, what they look like, their actions - how are we all unique? In school we are thinking about how God’s love is always with them, even when we face troubles and difficulties; we live in God’s constant care. All we need to do is to trust!

We would love a really good attendance at St Anne’s Parade this year. If you are able to walk with us, please do. On Sunday 5th July, it is our next Family Mass, where our Holy Communion children will be returning in their outfits. Please do join us to finish the year together.

A varied week in school

There has been lots of wonderful learning beyond the classroom this week in so many ways:

  • Year 6 continued their jobs around the school.

  • Year 5 & 6 Sports Day was won by Harcourt.

  • Year 6 Forest School Ambassadors headed to St Peters to meet others there.

  • Year 4 had their Viking Day here at school

  • Our Year 6 Cricket Team competed in the Lytham St Annes Cricket Competition, finishing 5th overall and winners of the plate.

Uniform Guidance for September 2026

Please find the uniform guidance for September 2026. The only changes that you need to be aware of:

  • PE tops will be compulsory from September. All children must wear the navy t-shirt for PE from September, not the white polo.

  • There will be no jewellery from September apart from an analogue watch. This applies to earrings as well. St Bedes have a no earring policy and as a cluster of schools that feed into St Bedes, we are applying the same policy here. If you are thinking of getting your child’s ears pierced over the summer holidays, it needs to be immediately so that they can be removed before they start school in September.
