"Gratitude paints little smiley faces on everything it touches"

Well, what can I say? What an amazing first half term we have had in Year 2! The children have thrown themselves into every challenge and have worked incredibly hard. I sometimes find it hard to believe that the children have been only been in Year 2 for such a short space of time. Even with the uncertainty and worries around us all at this time, the class have come together as one and have shown just what we can achieve when we all work co-operatively together. So, from all of the adults in Year 2, we just want to say a big thank you! You all deserve a good rest ready for the next exciting and jam packed term!

I also want to say a big thank you to YOU - all those parents and carers at home, as I know that this time hasn’t been easy for you either. I have missed getting to know you all at the door and having those little informal chats about your child’s learning, progress and relationships. Your support is very much appreciated and please do remember that I am always just an email away.

Have a wonderful half term with your families and we will see you back at school on Monday 2nd November!

God Bless,

Miss Woodend, Mrs Connolly, Mrs Carter and Mrs Malley.
