“Play is our brain’s favorite way of learning.” ~ Diane Ackerman

As another week has drawn to an end, the children have certainly got their neurons sparking with imaginative play. Hoola hooping is certainly the firm favourite in keystage 1 and D to D, still holds firm in Keystage 2. Whilst monster munch and happy families have also kept the children entertained.

Athletics, throwing and catching have been on the agenda in Mr Nays sessions this week. Mr Nay has been delighted with the progress made in such a short space of time. Thank you children for being so enthusiastic when taking part in the activities. It is also lovely to see that the children quite often choose to do a sporting activity in their free time. Tennis is as popular as ever across both keystages , along with basketball and running races.
