Drawing texture using line and tone using different pencils.
Used objects around the classroom to draw and shade using the techniques learnt: Hatching, Contour Hatching, Crosshatching, Random Hatching, Stippling and Ink wash.
What are patterns?
Patterns are all around us, we researched and discussed artists who use repeated patterns, William Morris, Owen Jones and Gustav Klimt, and looked at some of their work.
We had a go at drawing our own patterns, we created some interesting patterns.
