‘There are no wrong answers, only learning opportunities’

I can’t believe we have finished our first half term together, I have loved getting to know all the children and I am looking forward to sharing their learning with you on Friday.
Our virtues this half term have been Curious and Active, we have all been activly engaged and curious with our learning, asking questions and pushing oursleves further, thinking what can I do. I am very proud of everyone we are making progress each day and haven’t given up when we have found things challenging, well done.
Although it has only been three days we have squeezed alot of learning in.
We orally retold Supertato and wrote the story together, our writing has been brilliant!
We have enjoyed our practical maths lessons this week focusing on measurment for length, height and distance.
We had our fifth Kidsafe session this week, the children supported KS who had yukky feelings, from overhearing his parents/carers arguing. The session letter can be found below.

Henry is going home with this person for a super week he has been very polite and helpful well done :).
Pick Up
After half term we are moving our pick up to our outdoor area, outside our classroom. this should make it quicker and easier to collect your children.
Reminders
We kindly ask that screw top water bottles are not sent into school. These can be tricky for children to open and can often lead to accidental spillages! Thank you for your understanding.
Please remember to bring a coat in each day, the weather has been unpredictable and we like to go out as much as possible.
