Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn. O. Fred Donaldson,

My how the weeks are flying by! I think we can say that spring is finally here, with the suns on our faces and the breeze in our hair, it certainly is a good time to enjoy the outside. As ever, the children have been wonderful this week, with a plethora of games and activities. I have had small groups helping to water the fruit and vegetables in our little allotment, the children are so fascinated to see how the seedling are now growing so quickly with the warm weather. Thank you children, who have helped with this.

Mr Nay and Mr Murray have turned their attention to cricket skills during the lunchtime break. Their are certainly some budding cricketers raring to go! Whatever the children have chosen to do, they have done so with love and compassion. We are truly blessed here at Our Lady’s, to have such inspiring children.
