This week we celebrated Harvest. Thank you so much for sending all the jars of Pasta Sauce. They all went off to the local foodbank. In addition, we were led in class this week by our little Prayer team who led us in a thanks giving liturgy - it was wonderful.
Inspired by Pope Francis’ letter to us about looking after the world Dee Dee made ECO DUCK. This is a little friend who wants to have ECO ADVENTURES. They are a super hero for the planet. We have made a special box for ECO DUCK to travel in so they can come to your house and have a ECO ADVENTURE. With the box are too beautiful books to read together (all about loving our world) and a diary in which we encourage you to draw a picture of the ECO ADVENTURE you have and write a few sentences about what you did. You could - please avoid sending images for school to print out as this is a fun task for home - we will share what you have drawn and written.

MAGICAL MOMENTS OF LEARNING
We had the best day at the zoo! We explored habitats with Christian our Zookeeper guide, then we collected data as we moved around the zoo enjoying the weather and the amazing creatures. A massive thank you to our lovely helpers - you were all fabulous, we had sweet treats, funny stories about birds (Mrs Halton was very entertaining) and lots smiles. We went back to school and learned all about food chains - please do ask us to tell you all about them. We can draw one for you and label it with the correct scientific language!
We have completed the Kidsafe lessons this half term, we reflect on how to keep ourselves save. In addition to these lessons we explore our uniqueness and how special we are. We thought hard about this and realised that God made just one of us. He really loves each one of us and it is wonderful to know that we are all completely different. Last Friday, we brought home our little “unique” boxes - I hope you liked them. Here we are with them:
Here are more magical moments as we made 3-d shapes with Miss Woodend.
