This half term has flown by with an action- packed term of learning! We have been focusing on enhancing our painting skills by mixing primary colours to make secondary colours. We have then moved on to how we can create various textures using paint and a variety of tools to add detail into our art work. The children have then created their own textured paper to use in a collaborative collage, drawing inspiration from Romare Bearden. The work produced is fantastic!

We have now moved on to Craft and Design, where we are exploring clay, where we will be creating sculptures and tiles. The children have taken to this brilliantly and have made wonderful pinch pots this week. These will come home after the holiday when they have fully dried.
