What a term it has been! The Year 1’s have had a wonderful term exploring all things textiles, with having a go at weaving, plaiting and wool wrapping. These activities are superb for fine motor skills and for learning how to tie knots. We have been blessed to have the lovely Mrs Carter assisting us in these tricky techniques, thank you Mrs Carter for all your help! All the children’s creations were then attached to their own individual looms. I think you will agree, they look amazing!

Next half term, we are moving onto our final unit of the school year; cooking and nutrition, where we will be making a delicious smoothie!
