'Keep shining the world needs your light'

Anonymous

What a frosty start to the week the children loved being outside on the field and looking at the small amount of snow we had.

In RE we have learnt about Jesus’ announcement of his mission and how we can share with others about God’s love. We discussed what the good news meant for us: ‘That God is in our lives, he never forgets about us because he is God’ Arthur, ‘I feel loved’ Daniel, ‘I feel happy and loved’ Aubree, ‘I feel loving’ Benji. We have been thinking how we can shine our own light like Jesus.

Maths: We have continued looking at the symbols greater than > equal to = and less than <. We are getting more and more confident each day.We started the week off with how many ways we could make 7 using dice frames and rekenreks. Using the stem senetence 6 needs 1 to make 7, 6 and 1 make 7.

Science: In groups we built houses made from paper straws, wooden lolly sticks and plastic bricks then retold the 3 Little Pigs story. We made predictions about which house we thought we be the eaisest/hardest to build and which would be the strongest. We were right! The bricks were strong.
