‘It doesn’t cost me anything to be kind’

Paddington

It was lovely to end our week by walking to mass to celebrate lent our Year 4 partners. In RE we learnt about Jesus’ time in the desert. Lent is a time to prepare for Easter and an opportunity for a new start. We talked about our lenten boxes and the acts of kindness we will do to help raise money for CAFOD. We learnt this prayer and we decided it would be a nice prayer to start our day.

English: We have been innovating our own stories, we have changed the characters from Where the Wild things are. I have been very impressed with our creativity and independence.

Tea Dance

We enjoyed another session with Sarah on Wednesday.

Just a reminder of the details: it is on Tuesday 26th March at Marine Hall, Fleetwood 12:30 -2:30 and the cost is £3 per child for the transport. This is on Parent Pay.

Please can you fill in this form to let me know if you will need a packed lunch or if you will bring your own, please fill this in asap so I can let the kitchen team know.

If you are able to join us, we really encourage parental engagement, please can you email me we will be leaving school at around 9-9:10 and will be back by 12. It would be lovely to have lots of you there.

  • Polite reminder that all children across school should bring water in their bottles and not juice. This is something that we discuss regularly in school as part of our discussions about healthy snacks and healthy lunches. Please can you bring in healthy snacks please refer to the poster for suitable snack, we always have fruit avalible too.

  • Please can you bring/keep spare uniform in bags, as the weather has been wet recently, children have fallen over in puddles and it can sometimes be tricky finding spare uniform for them in the right size.
