Your mission this week, is to work on your heat map on TT Rockstars! Try to do GARAGE for 10 minutes every night, but definitely 10 minutes across 4 days! We are aiming to keep our heat map green, and looking at some, this is not the case.

Please make sure yhou are reading at least half an hour in an evening to help achieve your reading targets, improved your fluency and to bring your writing skills alive!

Year 5 Weekly Blog 22.05.26- ‘Rest isn’t a reward for the work, it’s part of the work’

What an exhusting, warm and yet exciting week it has been to finish our penultimate half term of the year! The first half of the week has been different for the children, with Mr O’Shea taking charge of the classroom whilst I was on residential. He could not have been more complimentary of the children and the level of respect, kindness and attitude that they had shown him- you did me proud! The end of the week has been action packed too with us having our forest school takover day, which the children and staff loved! (some of us enjoyed this a little too much). On Friday, many of our Year 5 members represented our school in the annual swimming gala competition, an event that often carries a lot of pressure and excitement- the children did themselves and the school very proud.
