Sheet 1- comparing non unit fractions. Use the bar charts to shade in the fractions represented.

Sheet 2- Multiplying by 10, 100 or 1000. Remember that the decimal point never moves and the digits move move left (multiply) or right (divide). The amount of times you move each number is based on the amount of zeros in what your multipying

e.g. x 10 = 1 shift to the right

x 100 = 2 shifts to the right

x 1000= 3 shifts to the right.

We have been learning about parenthesis, which is using brackets, dashes and commas to add extra information to a sentence.

TOP TIP- If you remove the extra information (inside the punctuation) then your sentence should still make sense. Make sure to cover the parenthesis with your finger and read the sentence out loud to check if it makes sense.
