Magic moments
RE
In RE this week we spoke more about our Catholic faith and the things we do every day to be like Jesus. We looked some more at our Catholic mission and discussed the people that we would help and pray for.
The children wrote some prayer leaves, they chose two people each. They chose one person they knew and one person they don’t know, and wrote who and why they were praying for them.
English and Maths
English this week has been all about assessment! The children have been doing some tricky papers this week so we can see just how much they have learnt and how they shine in all of our lessons. We completed a spelling paper, punctuation and grammar and two reading papers. The children tried their best and did very well!
In Maths we extended our addition and subtraction knowledge and pushed ourselves to see how independent we could be. We then began looking at length and how we make sure things are measured equally and accurately.
Forest School
The children had a lovely afternoon at forest school with Miss Lavelle this afternoon where they did some forest bathing and listened to a lovely story under the tree’s.
