Good morning Year 1 and welcome to Thursday’s learning. Today is your final full day in Year 1; tomorrow will be a half day of learning and then it is the start of your well deserved Summer Holiday break! Please don’t be alarmed by how much there is on the blog today. The challenges below English and Maths, are mini and lots of fun!
The sun is shining down on us today and it’s certainly put me in the mood to get outside. Although, we can’t go to any parks, if you’ve got a garden I’d love you to get outside. Can you create an obstacle course and time how quickly you can complete it? Perhaps you could have different challenges: catching a ball, rolling a ball, hopping etc. If you’ve got a stopwatch you could record your times and see if you can improve.
