‘How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard’

Winnie the Pooh

What a year we have had, I am so proud of everyone in our class, we have all been on our own special journey this year.

We have said goodbye to Ruairi and Arthur today who are continuing their journey at Clifton Primary School. We will miss you, we have all learnt so much as a class having you both in Reception, thank you.

Thank you for all of your wonderful messages and gifts we really appreciate everything you have done for us this year. We have all been very emotional today.

I would also like to say a HUGE thank you to Mrs Krol, Miss Forster and Mrs Summersall, for all of your support this year, for both myself and the children. I have been so lucky this year to work with such a fantastic team. They go above and beyond every day, they give their love to the children and spend so much of their own time (outside of school) making resources and thinking of engaging ways to help your child learn and grow. I couldn’t do my job without them, I really do appreciate them all so much, they have given your child a joy and love of learning and I knew this enthusiasm will continue into Year 1.

Thank you to Miss Green, who joined us recently, for your help and fantastic salt dough creations, we have loved decorating them. It’s always lovely for the children to see a familiar face in the lunch hall.

We have had a fantastic year here is a video of all of our special memories, I can’t believe how much we have done! I’ve loved looking back at all the photos and videos enjoy:

Let’s Celebrate:

Our class voted for our star and certificate this week they thought about who had worked hard over the year.

Well done to our certificate awardee: fmy favourite comment from a child was ‘She was scared to share at first but now she is brave just like Tommy turtle.’

Whole School Virtues - Loving and Compassionate: You show love and compassion to all of your friends and teachers in school, and play with everyone thank you.

Thank you for all of your support

Have a lovely Summer Holiday
