In our RE lessons, we have been learning about the Holy Trinity - The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We have identified signs and symbols of the Trinity in church and the words of mass, prayers and designed our own pendants and charms depicting the Holy Spirit. The children walked down to church with year 1 and were wonderful role models, we sat right at the front and sang beautifully. Well done year 3.
We have started planning and writing our own Roman narrative stories, including the features we have been focusing on this half term - fronted adverbials for time, prepositions and persuasive speech.
We had great fun dissecting flowers in our science lesson and finding all the parts we had learnt about last week. Our cooking over the last two weeks with Mrs Mather in DT has been a great success, we hope you enjoyed the tasty treats that came home.
Forest school Takeover - Wednesday 20th May
Please send children to school in suitable clothing for our Forest School takeover morning - Long sleves and trousers are a must. Wellies are suitable but if the children would like to climb the tree trainers must be worn. Our forest school operates in most weathers so please make sure appropriate warm clothing is worn.
