This week, the children were led in a beautiful worship by Father Peter. He taught children all about the rosary and told children that the gateway to Jesus is through His mother, Mary. Then we all prayed a decade of the rosary as a school, which was lovely to do together. Children can bring their rosaries into class next week, as we will be saying the rosary in class. In RE this week, we have learned the tricky story where God tests Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his only son.
We have done our fifth Kidsafe lesson this week, where children learned about what to do if they feel unhappy because parents are arguing. Please read the letter below which outlines the key messages.
Other magical moments this week: We have been studying the difference between how flowering and non-flowering plants reproduce in Science. Further to that, we have learned about seed dispersal and have started to learn the art of explanation, ready for writing explanatory texts next week. We have been learning square numbers in mastering number - and children have been determined to start turning those heatmaps green.
