This week, in class we have had a lovely week - which was all about being thankful. Children went to church on Wednesday to celebrate the good things God gives to us and think about Harvest. They reflected on how lucky they really are. Thank you so much for all your cereal donations. We are planning to make a huge dominos game around the hall after the holidays.
Other magical moments this week: We have done the tricky skill of rounding in maths this week. We have also been focusing on the 12x table. Children have been doing some excellent and very presuasive writing in their English. They have also been learning how to plot exact locations on the globe using co-ordinates. Today, we gave their assembly parts out too - which they are excited about.
Conversation starters:
Geography
How can we plot exact locations in the world? Look on google maps and find out where different cities are - look at the co-ordinates eg 60 degrees north, 45 degrees West. What does this mean?
