Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School
Today our choir visited Stella Matutina Residential Home to perform a medley of favourite Christmas songs. They raised their voices to entertain and brought real moments of nostalgia for the residents. Before and following the performance they chatted and shared stories amidst laughter and smiles. It really was lovely to see generations coming together.
As promised, I have attached the carol booklet that will be used during our visit to Stella Matutina. Please practise as much as you can over the coming weeks.

Read moreThis afternoon, the school choir went on a short visit to Stella Matutina Care Home. They began by singing them a few songs, ranging from a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang medley to the war time favourite ‘We’ll meet again’. The children spread so many smiles and so many commented on how much of a credit the children are to the school. After singing, we all then sat down to play a game of dominoes. Thank you Choir - your hard work and dedication showed tremendously. You certainly brightened up many of their days with several residents asking if we could stay forever!
