Please back the homework book as we usually do at the beginning of the year. This can be in any way you like - with photos, wrapping paper or pictures of things you are interested in. Please make sure your name is on the front after you have backed it.

Maths

This week, we have been revising the 5x tables.

Remember, if you feel a little stuck on division, think about how many groups you can get out of the first number. For example, if it is 20 divided by five - think “How many groups of 5 can I get out of 20?" Because you know 4x5=20 you know the answer already!

Next week, we are beginning our lessons in History about the Vikings. What can you find out about them? Create an information page in your homework book. Think about how to lay out your page before you begin.

You could find out:

What were they like? Where did they come from? What did they believe?

Why did they come here? What made them different to Anglo-Saxons? What are they famous for?

Don’t forget to include a picture or two on your fact page.

If you have not done this - have a go and send it.

Deadline for submissions is Mon 1st May at Midnight!!! All submissions with photo permissions to hazelc@blackpoolgrand.co.uk
