'Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!'".

Today we started our journey to the cross. Year 2 led us in an incredibly beautiful and poignant liturgy, sharing the joy of how the crowds felt when Jesus arrived, to the disappointment of the pharisees at his popularity. Next week we will continue our journey, and I really hope that you will be able to join us.

Monday 30th March at 9.15am - Year 3 The Last Supper

Tuesday 31st March at 9.15am - Year 4 Gethsemane

Wednesday 1st April at 9.15am - Year 5 Crucifixion

Thursday 2nd April at 9.15am - Year 6 Resurrection

We are incredibly close to reaching Nigeria! Nursery alone has walked over 125 miles! With just 800 miles to go - can we do it! All Lenten box money and CAFOD sponsor money needs to be in by Wednesday next week. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Growing our Catholic Family

Next Wednesday, 1st April, we will officially be joining BEBCMAT, along with St Peters. This is an opportunity to grow our faith more and to seek new an innovative ways of doing things with a closer team of schools. We also know just what we have to offer to others and look forward to sharing our practice with them.

"To make pottery is an adventure to me, every new work is a new beginning."

Our pottery events have become a staple of the school calendar. Thank you to everyone who came last night and spent time painting their easter decorations. They will be back with us next week ready to be displayed in your home over Easter weekend.

Every half-term, the local catholic heads who feed into St Bedes; along with Mr Marsden come together. We discuss all manner of things, but one thing we are keen to do is ensure that we link our school communities as much as possible. This week, we linked our choirs together for a special performance. Each choir performed and Mr Warrington brought us all together with harmonies and group performance. It was a gorgeous morning and my cup was definitely filled! Over the next week, I will merge the videos and photos together and share next week.
