‘Giving to others is the greatest gift that you can give yourself.’

It was lovely to welcome all the children back this week, the sun was shining and our garden full of strawberries! We look forward to eating some next week. The children were excited to be reunited and had so much news to tell us about their holidays. We have been very impressed with the children’s enthusiasm towards Read Write Inc this week, there hard work at home and school is most definitely paying off!

We have shared some lovely worships this week, the children were very reflective on all the things they are grateful for. We thought about our unique gifts and talents and how we can use them in a generous way towards others. We have created a thank you prayer to show God how grateful we our for our wonderful world, maybe you could share it together at home.

Dear God,

Thank you for our loving families and kind friends.

Thank you for our amazing bodies and for helping us to grow.

Thank you for all the beautiful and interesting things in our world.

We we always be grateful for the gifts you have given us.

Amen
