Exploring Shape and Line

My goodness what a busy term we have had! Our drawing topic has taken us on a journey from exploring with a variety or lines and shape whilst experimenting with various media. Be it, pencils, crayons, oil pastels and felt tips, reflecting on their own preferences of tools used. We have looked at the works of Bridget Riley and David Klee to inspire us to be creative in our drawings, including responding to a variety of music pieces to which Klee draws his inspiration. Using shape and line work to complete a variety of drawing tasks. Finishing off with shape and line portraits. I think you’ll agree that the results were fantastic!

Next half term, we move onto Design and Technology, where we will be creating stable structures and making puppets.

Have a lovely half term.

 God Bless
