This year, we are trying to put in some football for Year 3 and 4 throughout the year. Year 4 are playing this half term with Year 3 in the Spring at some point as they get a little older and more mature to represent the school in the best way. Year 4 are playing on Tuesday 4th November v Heyhouses and St Thomas - we have two teams. Because of the light situation and it getting darker earlier, we have decided to split the teams over two venues, therefore we need a few Year 3 children to make up the Year 4 team playing at Heyhouses.
It won’t be possible for all Year 3 children who want to play to play, so the easiest thing to do will be for you to complete the form below if your child is available, we will then pull names out of a hat. We need 3 Year 3 children to make up the team and support Year 4. This is a mixed team so either girls or boys can be selected. To be eligible, your child will need to be collected from school and taken straight to Heyhouses for a 3:40pm kick off. The game will be finished for 4:20pm before it gets dark. School kit will be supplied, you just need to ensure they have boots and shin pads.
