Final Year 2 Blog for the class of 2025! Thank You!

We have made it to the final week of the year. The time has flown by! We have been the luckiest class in school this week as we got to watch the Year 6 play twice! We loved it. It taught us about friendship, dreams, hopes and how we can achieved anything together. We have also had the privilege of having 4 lovely Year 6 children working with us (briefly) in class over the past 6 weeks and it has been wonderful! Our older children are an inspiration to us and set us an example. They all show us what is possible through hard work, friendship and trust. On Wednesday we went to church with our lovely Year 4 class partners to celebrate Year 6 - knowing that one day it will be us flying on into our futures. For now we fly to Year 3!

We’ve tidied the classroom, written welcome letters for the new class and chilled out together! Very relaxing - we even listened to Frank play the piano to us!

In our final assembly we were awarded our special stars badges for achieving our Star Charter this year. Together we have completed each of the 5 challenges and learnt such a lot along the way. We will continue on this “active” journey into Key Stage 2 - who knows what we will achieve by the time we get to Year 6!!

TIME TO CELEBRATE

It is always hard to select our final Virtue Star and Learner. Each class asked the children to vote for their classmates. We reflected in class on who was always ready to learn, ready for the challenge and always trying to make their tearning even better. In addition we were looking for someone who is kind, generous, loving and brave. I’m sure you will agree with the children’s votes:

THANK YOU

Finally we all thank you for trusting us with your children everyday and working with us endlessly to help them on their learning journey. The children have all earned a long and relaxing summer and we wish you all a wonderful break.

God Bless Always
