It has been a wonderful first week back for myself and to be back into the swing of the Our Lady’s life- Thankyou all for your loving messages. In our liturgy this week, we have looked at what it means to be a follower and a leader. We listened to scripture of when Jesus told his disciples to follow him on his way of life and we reflected on why so many people chose to follow Jesus. In RE, we have focused on the Lord’s prayer- Our Father. We have analysed each line in our prayer to really reflect and understand the powerful meaning behind those words.
The children have also finished their bikeability level 2 today with the children spending more time out on the roads with our instructors. You should recieve an email shortly regarding the outcome of their progress.

You have really impressed your teachers this week Joseph- we have seen a big shift in your focus during lessons and your determination to complete your tasks. You have applied yourself excellently throughout our short division work this week- keep up the good work!

PE days for this half term: Outdoor PE will be on a Tuesday and Indoor PE on a Thursday
Parents Day will be held on Friday 13th February. Email me which time you would like as this will be done on a first come basis. The sign up sheet will also be available outside the Year 5 classroom during pick ups at the end of the day.
