Dear parents you will have noticed that I have asked you to hand in this homework on Tuesday 10th Feb. We will be going on our trip to Martin Mere next Monda and arriving in school at 8:30. We will not require our reading books or homework books that day - only our rucksack, packed lunch and a smile!
READING
Remains our most important homework. Please read everyday.
MATHS
This weks film involves bridging through the next ten. Over the lesson prior to these the numbers didn’t go to the next ten. Now they do! Once again I’m looking for a deep understanding - showing the bridge in an equation and on the number line. We are not look for just “an answer”. Have fun!
HANDWRITING AND SPELLING
Practicing February again now and the day Friday. Then we have a new spelling rule. We have been exploring plurals. We have noticed that when we make a nound ending in y more than one we have to “change the y to an i and add es”
OPTIONAL HOMEWORK
As we enter this new term we engage with new topics. This term has a theme of birds and flight. You will notice that most of the extra tasks extend this learning - enjoy!
