Our RE this week was all about being with our Parish family! On Friday we met with Parishioners at the Parish centre. We took a game of “memory” with us and had lots of fun. It’s so wonderful to come together and spend time with each other. Our Parish is a special family! Next Wednesday we come together again for Harvest - if you can please join us for the Harvest Mass (9:30am). Don’t forget to donate your cereal too - we have a collection growing in class!
GOING DEEPER IN CONVERSATION
This week Mrs Gregan joined use to teach us more about Malawi. Please do ask us about it, we have new information to share!!!
MAGICAL MOMENTS OF LEARNING
This week we welcomed a new teacher to class - Miss Jeffery. She is visiting from university to try out her teaching skills. It has been lovely to have an extra person to help with our learning. This week we’ve been thinking like a scientist. We have learnt to classify and collect data using the tally method. We closely observed the shape of leaves and recorded what we found. We continued these close observational skills with both Mrs Mather in art and Mrs Hunter in our properties of shape lesson. In English we have started to explore noun phrases, adjectives and exciting verbs, these are going to make our writing even better! Maths has been super practical- we’re great at using and manipulating dienes equipment and we’ve been reasoning about our tens and ones!
LET’S CELEBRATE
This week our Virtue Star is Ralph - what little super star. Ralph thank you or being such a kind and generous member of our class family!
