THE NATIVITY- LEARNING OUR LINES
Dear parents- it’s that time of the year when Year 2 and Year 1 get together and put on a PLAY! This year we will be performing the musical nativity “A Rootin’ Tootin’ Nativity”. On our first day back, all the children recieved a full script, on the front of which is their name and their part. In class we had a go at finding our lines and highlighting them. You will need to check at home. After this short week we only have 4 weeks before we’ll perform together so it is supper important that we know our lines confidently asap. Please practise the lines- before each of their line - so we know when it is our time to speak. I have attached another copy of the script here just incase a pet destroys yours or it gets lost in a child’s bedroom.
SINGING
Alongside our lines the children will need to feel confident when singing all our songs. We mainly sing all together- that way we fill the hall with joy. This week I’ve popped three songs on for you to learn.
HANDWRITING
Handwriting video. We have been joining the caterpillar letters this week - this is tricky as we move forward to come back again.
