We have had such a wonderful start back in school. The children were so excited to see each other and their excitement for this weeks learning was a delight to hear! In Re we focused on Mary’s faith in God and how she said yes. We have thought about why Mary said yes to God.. she said yes because she loved God. We then thought about how we can say yes to God through our words and our actions.

GOING DEEPER IN CONVERSATION

This week we began our My Happy Mind learning and discovered three interesting facts about our brains. We learnt that our brains all look the same, they are pink and wrinkly and they are inside our heads. We discovered that our brains help us to do things. This week please have a discussion about what are brains help us to do and what they do not.. for example our brains do not help the grow.

MAGICAL MOMENTS OF LEARNING

Our magic moment this week was our wonderful enrichment afternoon! We had a great time embracing our creative selves, spending the afternoon with Mrs Naylor. We had great fun creating our own jewelled artwork! We have also had a great day today being our favourite Numberblock!

A huge congratulations to GWEN who has been awarded our STAR this week. You are so gentle in all that you do and are such a calm friend in our classroom. You are always happy to help and are fantastic at sharing.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

OPAL Launch -Wellies Needed!

Please make sure your child brings a pair of named wellies into school for our upcoming OPAL launch. We want everyone to be ready to get outside, explore and enjoy our outdoor play opportunities, whatever the weather!

Remembrance Day Liturgy

On Wednesday, we will be coming together for a special Remembrance Day liturgy. This will give us an opportunity to pause, reflect and remember those who have given so much for others.
