As we come to the end of our Year 3 journey together, we have spent this week reflecting on just how much we have achieved since September. It has been lovely to look back at photos, memories and all of the incredible learning that has taken place throughout the year.
Back in September, many of us arrived feeling a little nervous and unsure of what Year 3 would bring. Fast forward to now, and it has been wonderful to see the confidence, resilience and kindness that has grown in every single child. From speaking confidently in assemblies, taking on new challenges in the classroom and representing your house teams so brilliantly at Sports Day
This week we also celebrated some very special achievements, including our Star Charter Award, Learner of the Year and Virtue Star of the Year.
Learner of the Year - Rhys has been voted Learner of the Year by his classmates! They all recognised the incredible effort he has put into his learning this year and the fantastic progress he has made.We are all so proud of you, Rhys, and everything you have achieved this year. You have worked incredibly hard, shown great determination, and never given up, even when things have been challenging. Your resilience and positive attitude have been an inspiration to us all. Congratulations, Rhys – this award is so well deserved. Well done!
Virtue Star of the Year - Henry. Your friends have voted for you, you have show all virtues over the year. Well Done Henry!
These awards recognise not only hard work and determination, but also the kindness, compassion and positive attitudes that have made our classroom such a happy place to learn. I am incredibly proud of everyone, every child has made progress and has something to celebrate.
It has been a privilege to watch you all grow—not only academically, but also as thoughtful, caring and resilient young people. I have loved sharing so many wonderful memories with you this year, from exciting school trips and investigations to class liturgies, performances, sports events and all the laughter we’ve shared along the way. Each of you has helped to make Year 3 a very special class.
Thank you, Year 3, for your enthusiasm, your smiles, your curiosity and for making every day so rewarding. I feel incredibly lucky to have been your teacher this year and I will miss you all very much.
I hope you all have a fantastic, restful summer filled with fun, adventure and plenty of time to make happy memories with your families. I can’t wait to hear about everything you’ve been up to when I see you around school.
Good luck as you begin your Year 4 adventure—you are more than ready for it!
Love, Mrs Naylor ❤️
