This week you will notice a little grid in your homework book. We would like you the sign inside the grid each time your child reads to you. There are 5 sessions over the week.
MATHS
Well done for all the amazing progress on Numbots. Most of you have opened the challenges now- so pop on them and complete some subitising. Here are the statistics for the class so far!

HANDWRITING
Please watch the video - this week we tackle the very tricky catapillar letters (round letters). The challenge here is to secure the anticlockwise motion.
SPELLING

GAME - DETECTIVE how to play:
Write each of the words on a separate piece of paper.Now place those spellings around the room in unusual places. The child has to find the word read it and pinch the sounds and then come back to their homework book to write it three times. You are not allowed to bring the word back and copy. You have to remember the spelling. In class we play the “Pink Panther” theme tune - I have attached it here for you to play at home!
