The children prepared a lovely worship all about how Jesus views children. They read the story where Jesus rebukes the disciples for dismissing children - actually children are humble and have a trusting faith. The children felt comforted by this gospel - that Jesus is there for them and on their side.
In our Wednesday word, we learned about Jesus’ enthusiastic protest at the temple. He knew something needed to change. We can renew our relationship with God and have fresh enthusiasm for our faith.
On Thursday, we had a worship of Remembrance. Children showed such respect and reverence as we remembered all saints and souls who have died because of their faith and service to others.
In other news, we have been examining seeds to see how they disperse, as we will be writing our explanatory texts in the next two weeks. We are going to send it to the ‘king’ of explanation - Sir David Attenborough for his birthday! We have launched into our new Science topic ‘States of Matter’ - learning about matter, mass, volume and state.
