What a lovely week we have had! The highlight of our week was witnessing the baptism of Blythe and her sister patience on Wednesday. It was lovely to welcome you into the Christian family formally and celebrate afterwards too! This week in RE children learned about the parable of the sheep and the goats - or the judgement of Nations. They reflected on Jesus’s words that when helping ‘The least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” By helping others, Jesus feels this love too. Jesus wants us to see the need in others and reach out to them. Very aptly, the gospel we shared was about Jesus helping a blind man who was saved by his faith in Jesus. I can see the growth in your children’s faith each day - and it is a joy to behold!
In other news this week, children performed their mastering number session to lots of teachers from other schools on Thursday. They were briliant and it was our final calculation. We are GOLD! We just need those last few childen to keep going at their TT rockstars at home - they are so close! Lovely biscuits made on Thursday too. We also launched our new history topic about the Anglo-Saxons. Ask your child all about it!

Our certificate this week is an enthusiastic and brave learner This goes to Luca.. You have been having great ideas in class and you are becoming brave enough to write them all down so we can see your excellent thinking. You are always so enthusiastic.
Our virtues this half term are being intentional and prophetic. Intentional in their behavour for learning and their behaviour towards others. This week, Blythe receives our star for being so intentional in her love of God. This week you have been baptised and I have seen Jesus’s love in action watching you help others. Thank you
