Worship
This week we have continued our branch ‘To the Ends of the Earth’. Our key words this week were parish family, Holy Spirit and Pentecost.
We continued talking about Pentecost, looking at some clues to see what we could retrieve from our learning last week:
I am bright but not the sun, I flicker, dance, and warm everyone. At Pentecost, on heads I came, can you guess my fiery name? Flame
I dance in the trees and make kites fly, you cannot see me, but I rush by. At Pentecost, I blew so strong, bringing the Spirit to everyone! I am… Wind
We then watched Little Liturgies from The Mark 10 Mission, all about Pentecost: Click here.
Our child led worship this week was about ‘Mary Queen of Heaven’. May is traditionally dedicated as the Month of Mary. We had a look at different images from different countries showing Mary and Jesus. They were all different but the children still recognised them as Mary and Jesus.
We watched this video all about The Queenship of Mary: Click here We ended our Worship session in our prayer garden, using our Rosary beads to say the Our Father, Hail Mary and the Glory Be.
