READING
We are slowly but surely creeping towards the final few weeks in KS 1. Please continue to read. The children have continued to fully engage in class, please keep that love of reading going at home too.
On Friday we had the Library Service in to share their reading challenge over the summer. If you have time you could start it soon!
MATHS
Thank you to all the parents who completed the subtraction using a numberline - I know how important it is to compkete these tasks away form the teacher - the children have the opportunity to explian their understanding one to one and this is so valuable.
This week we have telling the time past the hour - I have made a little video explaining how to use the teaching clock- I have linked below. We have also introduced to the hour today so you could take it further.
SPELLING AND HANDWRITING
In your book you have a worksheet. You have to generate new words adding the suffix onto a word given to make a new word. After you have made 9 new words. Write 3 funny sentences in your very best handwriting!
Have fun - thank you for all your continued support - Mrs H x
