GOING DEEPER IN CONVERSATION
Shakespeare - this week we have listened to the story of the TEMPEST. It has been fun. Miss Edwards taught us all about Prospero, Ariel and the shipwreck. It was a story of magic and forgiveness. CBBC performed the play for children and I have linked the play here - click on the image and enjoy the film together-
MAGICAL MOMENTS OF LEARNING
Mrs Hotchkiss has been away for most of the week and we have welcomed the lovely Miss Edwards our brand new Year 1 teacher. She has excited us all with the tale of the Tempest. We have learnt the story through drama, writing and art! In maths we explored the relationship between division, fractions and halving and doubling. Mrs Mather took us for DT as the other half of the class cooked. We had another lovely french lesson and on Monday we celebrated sports day together. We are heading to our final week together which is sad for Miss Forster and I but we are having a lovely time and we want to make this last week special too.
Finally, a massive thank you to our lovely mum’s who came with us to the beach. Here we made loads of special hearts. If you look carefully at the pictures your will spot AJ’s mummy carrying Kian’s mummy on her shoulders so we could take an ariel pic of our human heart - impressive!
