READING
Please continue having the children read their RWInc (phonics) books at home daily!
Please also explore together the library book that the children have brought home to read for pleasure!
MATHS
This week, the children have maths sheets stuck in their homework books.
English:
This week, we would like the children to put their imaginations to the test! Having explored Evil Pea's mischievous plans in Supertato, the children have been challenged to design their very own trap to catch Supertato. Can they think of a clever way for Evil Pea to catch our superhero? We would love to see their creative designs, complete with labels and a sentence explaining how their trap will work. Don't forget those capital letters, finger spaces and full stops!
We can't wait to see the children's creative ideas!
I have also included a pack of high-frequency words that the children should read and learn little and often! When the children know these fluently, they will move up a set!
SPELLING:
Please practise the high-frequency words in your child's word pack, as well as the handwriting activity stuck into their homework book. Encourage the children to form their letters carefully and take their time!
Handwriting
Your child should have high-frequency words stuck in their book to practice their handwriting.
Note: Please don’t worry if your child’s book does not have these exact documents; I have adapted some homework tasks to children’s specific targets in their learning!
