Maths
This week we have been thinking about the value of numbers up to 9,999.
We have also been practising counting on and back in 250’s. For example 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1,250 etc
Maths homework has two foci this week.
Solve the calculations below by counting on or back in 250’s. Parents, why not keep firing these type of questions at children in those spare minutes and see if they can work out mentally.
a) 250 + 250 = b) 500 + 250 = c) 750 + 250 d) 500 + 750 =
e) 1,250 + 750=
f) 500 - 250 = g) 1,250 - 500 = h) 750 - 500 =
