"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference" Winston Churchill

What a wonderful week of learning. I have really enjoyed receiving all your World War II research projects - I have to say I think my favourite (I liked them all) was Zofia’s. If you look carefully at the pictures I think you’ll spot Zofia dressed as in a fetching 1940’s outfit! Your art work was a fitting tribute to VE day too- and well done for producing so many wonderful lettesr to Michiya! The bombing of Nagasaki marked the end of the whole war later in 1945. I hope you enjoy the pictures- a few pets have sneeked in!

I know a lot of you have climbed the stairs for Everest and I have 16 children who have contacted Jayden or myself. We need to keep climbing final count next Friday. Talking of Jayden - sorry Jayden- his Grandad lived above a fire station in London during the war. He wrote Jayden a recount of what he could remember so Jayden could keep it. I thought you might like to read it children! Have a lovely long weekend take care of each other always.

God Bless Mrs Hxx

"The righteous man cares for the needs of his animals" Proverbs 12:10

Now Jayden has worked out how many steps we would have to climb to get to the top of Mount Everest. Here is a picture of his workings out! Can we do this for charity?
